“In serious cases of breach of fiduciary duty to misappropriate clients’ funds or other entrusted property, the commercial banks, stock exchanges, futures exchanges, securities companies, insurance companies or other financial institutions concerned will be imposed with fines, while their executives in direct charge and other directly responsible personnel will be given the sentence of less than three years in prison or detention and a fine of more than RMB30,000 and less than RMB0.3 million; in especially serious cases, their executives in direct charge and other directly responsible personnel will be given the sentence of more than three years and less than ten years in prison and a fine of more than RMB50,000 and less than RMB0.5 million.”
