China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation on January 11.

At the signing ceremony held in Shanghai, Zhu Yuchen, CFFEX CEO and Charles Li, HKEx Chief Executive, signed the memorandum.

According to the memorandum, CFFEX and HKEx will build a steady communication mechanism and provide mutual support for each other’s development around the world and the expansion of their business in China’s Mainland, in addition to jointly boosting the cooperation in information sharing, personnel training, business exchange, R&D, and other aspects.

It is the first time that CFFEX signs a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with an exchange outside China’s Mainland since its establishment.
