The Clearing Department of the China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) takes charge of the settlement of all futures transactions made through the CFFEX, the management of

(1)　 producing clearing members’ settlement accounts;

(2) handling capital transfer business;

(3) collecting, recording and reporting settlement of transactions;

(4) handling dispute over amounts in trading of its members;

(5) handling clearing and delivery businesses;

(6) managing margins, clearing guarantee funds and risk reserves;

(7) controlling clearing risks;

(8) supervising the futures clearing business between the futures margin custodian banks and the CFFEX;

(9) other functions regulated by laws, administrative regulations, rules and the CFFEX.
