According to the “Measures of China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) on Membership Management”, the members of the CFFEX are divided into trading members and clearing members. Clearing members have the qualification to directly handle the clearing at the CFFEX, while trading members don’t. Clearing members can be further divided into trading and clearing members, general clearing members and special clearing members. Trading and clearing members can only handle clearing and delivery businesses under entrustment of their clients. General clearing members can be entrusted by their clients to handle the clearing and delivery businesses and handle such businesses for trading members who sign clearing agreements with them. Special clearing members can only handle clearing and delivery businesses for trading members who sign clearing agreements with them.
