CFFEX Recognizes Outstanding Members for 2017
China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) has recently selected and recognized outstanding members for 2017 to further promote the sound development of China’s financial futures market, establish a self-regulation mechanism with a focus on regulation of members, and encourage the compliance operation and robust growth of members.
In 2017, a critical year for China to secure a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and strive for the great success of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, CFFEX, under the firm leadership of the CPC Central Committee with President Xi Jinping at its core and the unified deployment of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), implemented the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, improved its political stance, strengthened the fulfilment of its duties, and bolstered the CPC’s leadership over the financial futures business. Moreover, CFFEX actively served the real economy, promoted the development of a multilevel capital market, placed equal emphasis on exercising law-based, full, and strict supervision and diversifying financial futures management instruments, and strengthened its front-line supervision in an effort to maintain a sound financial futures market.
In the past year, all members made positive contribution to the innovative development of China’s financial futures market by actively boosting the development of the market, cooperating with CFFEX in its performance of self-regulatory duties, providing strong support for the stable operation of the market, and promoting the fulfillment of market functions. After comprehensively considering all members’ persistent efforts in maintaining market stability, ensuring business compliance, performing the duty of client management, promoting the fulfillment of market functions, and furthering investor education and marketing campaign, as well as their investment in research and development of new products and technical support, CFFEX has selected 41 outstanding members for 2017 and granted the Platinum Award, Gold Award, Technical Management Award, Product Promotion Award, and Product Innovation Award to them respectively. CFFEX hereby offers congratulations to all award-winners and hopes that all members will forge ahead for more success.
Mission is a call to action and steers the course to the future. The year 2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening up and is also the first year for implementing the strategic deployment of the 19th CPC National Congress and a critical year for China to secure a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. CFFEX will, under the guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, uphold and strengthen the overall leadership of the CPC; maintain market-based and law-governed reform consistent with international practices; promote the strategic vision of prioritizing social responsibilities, developing a full-featured market, implementing scientific governance and control policies, and conducting safe, efficient operation; resolve to implement one blueprint throughout its reform; and focus on serving the real economy, preventing financial risks, and deepening reform and opening up. Furthermore, CFFEX will remain true to its original aspiration, keep its mission firmly in mind, and work steadily to build itself into a globally competitive and world-class financial futures exchange with Chinese characteristics that is characterized by a wide range of products, a complete set of functions, moderate trading, and compliance operation.
The new era will be an era of building on past successes to further advance our cause, CFFEX will seize the historic opportunity in the new era to strive for new progress of China’s financial futures industry with all members.
