Guide to Clearing and Delivery Personnel

I.Introduction

“Clearing and Delivery Personnel” are individuals authorized by a Clearing Member to conduct clearing and delivery on its behalf. Each Clearing Member shall appoint at least two such individuals.

Clearing and Delivery Personnel shall meet the requirements of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (“CSRC”) regarding the qualifications to engage in futures business; obtain the Clearing and Delivery Personnel training certificate issued by the Exchange after completing the training courses organized by the Exchange; and, with the approval of the Clearing Member, obtain the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel.

II.Application for the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel

1. Clearing members submit applications for the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel to the Clearing Department of the Exchange. The application materials include: “Letter of Authorization for Clearing and Delivery Personnel”, a copy of the “Clearing and Delivery Personnel training certificate issued by the Exchange”, and 2 ID photos of the applicant (25 mm*35 mm in size, with the name of the applicant, the abbreviation of the member and the number of the member written on the back of the photo).

2. The Clearing Department of the Exchange shall review the application materials. On passing the review, The Clearing Department makes the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel and notifies Clearing Members to receive it.

3. Clearing Members send a person to the Clearing Department of the Exchange to receive the Certificate of the Clearing and Delivery Personnel.

III.Cancellation of the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel 

The Clearing Member submits the “Application Form for Cancellation of the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel” to the Clearing Department of the Exchange, and returns the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel to the Clearing Department. If the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel is lost, it must be stated in the application form that "the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel is lost and cannot be returned to the exchange, and all consequences arising therefrom shall be borne by the Clearing Member".

Ⅳ.Reissue of the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel 

When a Clearing Member applies for reissue of the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel, it shall apply for the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel in accordance with the procedures for applying for the Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel while submitting an application for the new Certificate of Clearing and Delivery Personnel.
